(17ª SEMANA COMUM
((verde – ofício do dia)
– Palavra do Senhor.
Salmo Responsorial: 145(146)
(At 16,14) – R.

17th COMMON WEEK
(green – craft of the day)
God dwells in his holy temple, gathers his children into his house; it is he who gives strength and power to his people (Ps 67,6s.36).
First Reading: Jeremiah 18:1-6
Reading from the book of the prophet Jeremiah - 1 A word addressed to Jeremiah from the Lord: 2 "Arise and go to the potter's house, and there I will make you hear my words." 3 I went to the potter's house, and, behold, he was working at the lathe; 4when the vase he molded with clay was broken in his hands, he would make another vase out of that material, as he saw fit. 5 The word of the LORD was made in me: 6 “Can I not do with you like this potter, house of Israel? - says the Lord. As clay is in the potter's hand, so are you in my hand, house of Israel.” - Word of the Lord.
Responsorial Psalm: 145(146)
Happy is he who leans on the God of Jacob!
1. Bless the Lord, my soul! † I will bless the Lord all my life, / I will sing to my God without ceasing! - R.
2. Do not put your faith in those who command, / there is no man who can save. / When he fails to breathe, he returns † to the land he came from; / in that day his plans perish. - R.
3. Happy is every man who seeks his help in the God of Jacob / and who puts his hope in the Lord. / The Lord made heaven and earth, / he made the sea and what is in them. - R.
Gospel: Matthew 13,47-53
Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah. Open our hearts, O Lord, to hear the Word of Jesus! (Acts 16:14) – R.
Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Matthew – At that time, Jesus said to the crowd: 47 “The kingdom of heaven is still like a net thrown into the sea, which catches fish of all kinds. 48When it is full, the fishermen haul their nets ashore, sit down and collect the good fish in baskets and throw out the bad ones. 49 So it will be at the end of time: the angels will come to separate the wicked from the righteous 50 and will throw the wicked into the fiery furnace. And then there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 51 Did you understand all this?” They replied: “Yes”. 52 Then Jesus added, "So then, every teacher of the law who becomes a disciple of the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who brings out of his treasure both new and old things." 53When Jesus had finished telling these parables, he departed from there. – Word of salvation.

Aleluya, aleluya, aleluya.
