Primeira Leitura: Apocalipse 14,14-19
Leitura do livro do Apocalipse de São João – Eu, João, 14na minha visão, vi uma nuvem branca e, sentado na nuvem, alguém que parecia um “filho de homem”. Tinha na cabeça uma coroa de ouro e, nas mãos, uma foice afiada. 15Saiu do templo um outro anjo, gritando em alta voz para aquele que estava sentado na nuvem: “Lança tua foice e ceifa. Chegou a hora da colheita. A seara da terra está madura!” 16E aquele que estava sentado na nuvem lançou a foice, e a terra foi ceifada. 17Então saiu do templo que está no céu mais um anjo. Também ele tinha nas mãos uma foice afiada. 18E saiu, de junto do altar, outro anjo ainda, aquele que tem o poder sobre o fogo. Ele gritou em alta voz para aquele que segurava a foice afiada: “Lança a foice e colhe os cachos da videira da terra, porque as uvas já estão maduras”. 19E o anjo lançou a foice afiada na terra e colheu as uvas da videira da terra. Depois, despejou as uvas no grande lagar do furor de Deus. – Palavra do Senhor.

O Senhor vem julgar nossa terra.
1. Publicai entre as nações: “Reina o Senhor!” † Ele firmou o universo inabalável, / e os povos ele julga com justiça. – R.
2. O céu se rejubile e exulte a terra, / aplauda o mar com o que vive em suas águas; / os campos com seus frutos rejubilem, / e exultem as florestas e as matas. – R.
3. Na presença do Senhor, pois ele vem, / porque vem para julgar a terra inteira. / Governará o mundo todo com justiça, / e os povos julgará com lealdade. – R.
Evangelho: Lucas 21,5-11
Proclamação do Evangelho de Jesus Cristo segundo Lucas – Naquele tempo, 5algumas pessoas comentavam a respeito do templo que era enfeitado com belas pedras e com ofertas votivas. Jesus disse: 6“Vós admirais estas coisas? Dias virão em que não ficará pedra sobre pedra. Tudo será destruído”. 7Mas eles perguntaram: “Mestre, quando acontecerá isso? E qual vai ser o sinal de que essas coisas estão para acontecer?” 8Jesus respondeu: “Cuidado para não serdes enganados, porque muitos virão em meu nome, dizendo: ‘Sou eu!’ E ainda: ‘O tempo está próximo’. Não sigais essa gente! 9Quando ouvirdes falar de guerras e revoluções, não fiqueis apavorados. É preciso que essas coisas aconteçam primeiro, mas não será logo o fim”. 10E Jesus continuou: ”Um povo se levantará contra outro povo, um país atacará outro país. 11Haverá grandes terremotos, fomes e pestes em muitos lugares; acontecerão coisas pavorosas e grandes sinais serão vistos no céu”. – Palavra da salvação.

First Reading: Revelation 14:14-19
Reading from the book of the Apocalypse of Saint John – I, John, 14 saw in my vision a white cloud and, sitting on the cloud, someone who looked like a “son of man”. He had a golden crown on his head and a sharp sickle in his hand. 15Another angel came out of the temple, shouting with a loud voice to him who sat on the cloud, “Thrust in your sickle and reap. Harvest time has come. The harvest of the earth is ripe!” 16 And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle, and the earth was reaped. 17 Then another angel came out of the temple in heaven. He also had a sharp sickle in his hand. 18 And yet another angel came out from the altar, the one who has power over fire. He called out in a loud voice to the one holding the sharp sickle, "Thrust in your sickle and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, for the grapes are ripe." 19And the angel thrust his sharp sickle into the earth, and gathered the grapes from the vine of the earth. Then he poured the grapes into the great winepress of God's wrath. - Word of the Lord.

The Lord comes to judge our land.
1. Publish among the nations: “The Lord reigns!” † He established the unshakable universe, / and the peoples he judges with justice. – R.

Gospel: Luke 21,5-11

Prima Lettura: Apocalisse 14,14-19
Leggendo dal libro dell'Apocalisse di San Giovanni – Io, Giovanni, 14 ho visto nella mia visione una nuvola bianca e, seduto sulla nuvola, qualcuno che sembrava un “figlio dell'uomo”. Aveva una corona d'oro in testa e una falce affilata tra le mani. 15Un altro angelo uscì dal tempio, gridando a gran voce a colui che sedeva sulla nube: «Metti mano alla tua falce e mieti. Il tempo del raccolto è arrivato. Il raccolto della terra è maturo!” 16 E colui che sedeva sulla nuvola impugnò la sua falce e la terra fu mietuta. 17 Poi un altro angelo uscì dal tempio che è nel cielo. Aveva anche una falce affilata in mano. 18 E un altro angelo uscì dall'altare, quello che ha potere sul fuoco. A colui che impugnava la falce affilata gridò ad alta voce: «Metti la tua falce e vendemmia i grappoli della vite della terra, perché l'uva è matura». 19 E l'angelo affondò la sua falce affilata nella terra e vendemmiò l'uva dalla vite della terra. Poi versò l'uva nel grande torchio dell'ira di Dio. - Parola del Signore.

Il Signore viene a giudicare la nostra terra.
1. Pubblica tra le nazioni: "Il Signore regna!" † Ha stabilito l'universo incrollabile, / e giudica con giustizia i popoli. - R.
2. Gioisca il cielo ed esulti la terra, / applauda il mare con ciò che vive nelle sue acque; / esultano i campi con i loro frutti, / esultano le selve e i boschi. - R.
3. Alla presenza del Signore, perché viene, / perché viene a giudicare tutta la terra. / Governerà il mondo intero con giustizia, / e giudicherà i popoli con lealtà. - R.
Vangelo: Luca 21,5-11
Annuncio del Vangelo di Gesù Cristo secondo Luca - In quel tempo 5 alcune persone commentarono il tempio che era ornato di belle pietre e di ex voto. Gesù disse: 6 “Ammirate queste cose? Verranno giorni in cui nessuna pietra sarà lasciata intatta. Tutto sarà distrutto”. 7Ma essi dissero: «Maestro, quando avverrà questo? E quale sarà il segno che queste cose stanno per accadere? 8 Rispose Gesù: «Guarda di non lasciarti ingannare, perché molti verranno nel mio nome, dicendo: "Sono io!" E ancora: "Il tempo è vicino". Non seguire queste persone! 9 Quando sentirete parlare di guerre e di rivoluzioni, non abbiate paura. Queste cose devono accadere prima, ma non sarà subito la fine”. 10E Gesù continuò: «Un popolo si solleverà contro un altro popolo, un paese assalirà un altro paese. 11 Ci saranno grandi terremoti, carestie e pestilenze in molti luoghi; accadranno cose spaventose e si vedranno grandi segni nel cielo”. - Parola di salvezza.

Leyendo del libro del Apocalipsis de San Juan – Yo, Juan, 14 vi en mi visión una nube blanca y, sentado sobre la nube, alguien que parecía un “hijo de hombre”. Tenía una corona de oro en la cabeza y una hoz afilada en las manos. 15Otro ángel salió del templo, gritando a gran voz al que estaba sentado sobre la nube: “Mete tu hoz y siega. Ha llegado el tiempo de la cosecha. ¡La cosecha de la tierra está madura!” 16 Y el que estaba sentado sobre la nube metió su hoz, y la tierra fue segada. 17 Entonces salió otro ángel del templo en el cielo. También tenía una hoz afilada en la mano. 18 Y aún salió del altar otro ángel, el que tiene poder sobre el fuego. Gritó a gran voz al que sostenía la hoz afilada: "Mete tu hoz y recoge los racimos de la vid de la tierra, porque las uvas están maduras". 19 Y el ángel metió su hoz aguda en la tierra, y recogió las uvas de la vid de la tierra. Luego echó las uvas en el gran lagar de la ira de Dios. - Palabra del Señor.

Proclamación del Evangelio de Jesucristo según Lucas - En ese momento, 5 algunas personas comentaron sobre el templo que estaba adornado con piedras hermosas y exvotos. Jesús dijo: 6 “¿Admiras estas cosas? Llegarán días en los que no quedará piedra sin remover. Todo será destruido”. 7Pero ellos preguntaron: “Maestro, ¿cuándo sucederá esto? ¿Y cuál será la señal de que estas cosas están por suceder? 8Jesús le respondió: "Cuídense de no ser engañados, porque muchos vendrán en mi nombre, diciendo: '¡Soy yo!' Y otra vez: 'El tiempo está cerca'. ¡No sigas a esta gente! 9 Cuando oigas hablar de guerras y revoluciones, no te asustes. Estas cosas deben suceder primero, pero no será el final de inmediato”. 10Y Jesús continuó: “Un pueblo se levantará contra otro pueblo, un país atacará a otro país. 11 Habrá grandes terremotos, hambres y pestilencias en muchos lugares; sucederán cosas terribles y se verán grandes señales en el cielo”. - Palabra de salvación.
